The Weather
Melbournians love to complain about the weather here. It's too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, too much rain, too little rain, etc, etc.
I like to point out that after growing up in a place that is currently experiencing almost two straight months of near 40C/100+F degree heat and after spending six years in a place where a week of -22C/-7F cold was not unheard of, the weather here is pretty dang nice. Always.
I mean, have I ever lived anywhere where we could do this:
With four weeks of winter left?
No. I have not. Bless you, Melbourne and your springlike winters.

Um, yeah, agree with you. Melbourne folks don't know what they've got I guess!
Hahaha, this is so funny to me. I do this exact thing, wonder about the locals attitude to weather - except the mild weather place I live in is the extreme place you refer to. :) hugs.
